Choosing the right vehicle to best fit a given lifestyle has always been a challenge—until now. Find Your Match allows users to explore different aspects of their lifestyle and personality, gradually narrowing down to a selection of ideal Toyota vehicles. Looking for a weekday vehicle or just out for a joyride? Find Your Match can find the right match for you.
Technology
Find Your Match is a Flash-powered microsite built in ActionScript 3 with a custom backend that sources XML files for content. This system allows for our clients to easily update vehicles and vehicle data as new models are released. The animated transitions are pre-rendered FLV files with a custom vector masking system that allows clips to be efficiently reused for different routes, drastically cutting down on the required download time.
The entire system ties in both to a custom web service for tracking marketing data as well as a complex analytics system to give the client a complete overview of how users are interacting with the site.
